Kellie Martin is she is an American actress and film director most well-known for her role for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the drama about families Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin is the daughter of a department-store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt who worked as an nanny for Michael Landon's kids assisted Martin land a role in 1981's series "Father Murphy". Martin began her professional acting career after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television and film industries. Martin, who is an actor, as well as an accomplished photographer and dancer, has been working in the field for the past twenty years.
